Funding breakthrough for urban ag in Washington DC

There’s been a funding breakthrough for urban ag in Wash. D.C.: $1.4m for demonstration gardens in parks and trials for community-based composting. Compost matters in every city, and is integral to urban ag success.

We’re struggling with it in Metro Vancouver, with nowhere near this amount of money around.
