20,000 backyard gardens coming to Wisconsin

Will Allen’s Growing Power Center in Milwaukee is launching an initiative to add 20,000 backyard food gardens in Southern Wisconsin. This is a business model that could be used anywhere. I believe homeowners will pay to have a garden set up and planted for them. As Will keeps saying, “it’s all about the soil”.

In Metro Vancouver, we’re still figuring out how to grow soil in dispersed locations once organics are banned from the landfill in 2015.
